About GovBid Finder

GovBid Finder helps commercial and specialty contractors discover, qualify for, and win federal, state, and local government contracts — and only charges a small success fee when you actually win. We built it because finding the right public work shouldn't require an expensive subscription or a full-time bid chaser.

What GovBid Finder does

The platform pulls opportunities from federal, state, and local sources and scores each one against your company profile — your trade, size, geography, and certifications — so you spend time on real fits instead of scrolling endless portals. From there, a pipeline helps you work each pursuit through award. It's a discovery, qualification, and workflow tool: you always submit your own bids through the agency's portal, and bids are never submitted automatically.

Free until you win

GovBid Finder is free to sign up and free to use every day. We charge a 3% success fee only on contracts awarded through the platform — no monthly subscription, no per-seat pricing, and no credit card to begin. If you never win, you never pay. That model keeps our incentive aligned with yours: we only do well when you do.

Who it's for

We build for the contractors who actually perform the work — roofing, electrical, HVAC, concrete, general construction, and the specialty and service trades — whether you bid as a prime or a subcontractor. Much of what we publish, from the guides to the state and trade pages, exists to help contractors succeed at government work even if they never use the app.

How we keep our content trustworthy
